and dragons:
Are you one of those who says "dinosaurs never existed! And
dragons CERTAINLY didn't!"? Well, then the Bible is wrong.

Isaiah 14:29
(KJV) "Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that
smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent's
root shall come forth a
cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent."
The original Hebrew reads:
שֵׁ֣בֶט מַכֵּ֑ךְ נִשְׁבַּ֖ר נָחָשׁ֙ מִשֹּׁ֤רֶשׁ צֶ֔פַע יֵ֣צֵא
וּפִרְיֹ֖ו מְעֹופֵֽף׃ שָׂרָ֥ף
The word for "cockatrice" is "tsepha" - meaning "a serpent":

The entire Hebrew is translated: "be glad
feleshet ["Philistia"] the

So, I guess a "cockatrice" is a serpent/snake. The word
"his" was added, as well as "shall be". (and "thee" and "him")

("appeared" was added in both translations. Also, who knows what
a "diadem" is? 99% of English people do not know what it is - and
although Christians sing the Hymn "bing forth the royal - dia-dem...",
I've asked over the decades, and nobody can say what it is.
People guess - I've had from "robe" to "sceptre" to "shoes" to "street
of gold". Although the Koine Greek [stated above] is "διαδήματα"
- meaning "diádēma" – which is "a royal crown". That's why I
prefer a version that states "a crown". Ah - "bring - forth
- the - roy-al - crown ... and crown - him - - Lord - of - all.")

Everyone wants to know who "they" was. That was ADDED:

Huge giants - dinosaurs walked with
man and are
still around in
some
parts, especially in Congo (PRC). They even have a name for it called
"the
mocku membe"(sp?) It's a long necked dinosaur with a long tail, it
still
exists there. What about what people call the supernatural or
aliens. Remember "Goliath"?? Many
cite Goliath as being "4
cubits and a span", which is 2.06 metres, or for the Americans who
still want to use the British system (why???) - that's 6.7585302
feet.
WHY do Americans still insist on BRITAIN - when they celebrate
"Independence
Day"???!!! Going forward, this proves how SHORT they were back in
that day - if they were ASTONISHED at 2m tall.
Some text dictate 2.38m [7.80 ft], while other ancient texts claim
that he towered at "six cubits. McClintock and Strong Biblical
Cyclopedia ("Goliath"): His height was "6 cubits and a span," which,
taking the cubit at 21 inches, would make him 3.2m [10.5 feet] high.
Clarke's Commentary: "9'9" is the most
reasonable.". So, CLEARLY, we cannot rely on our own
understanding. However, if Enoch
talked
about TOWERING people - twice that of a man", who knows the height,
since the Jews in that day were shorter than today - probably averaging
1.5 or even 1.4m tall. Again, for you spoiled, hypocritical
Americans, that's 4.9 to 4.6 ft tall - again, using that old British
system.
One of the Dead Sea Scrolls and some important
Greek manuscripts -
along
with the testimony of Josephus - present Goliath
as 2.75m [6-9'] tall.
There are two options for how these readings arose:
(1) an unintentional scribal mistake or
(2) an intentional scribal change.
Even if he was the height of over 2.9m [9.5 feet], Goliath would have
undoubtedly been seen as a "Big Unfriendly Giant" (BUG), even to
modern people who are taller than our biblical predecessors. The Book of Enoch mentioned
VERY tall
people,
TOWERING [next article below], so that's at least twice what a normal
person is, and at
1.5m, that makes it 3m minimum. The ceiling in the average home
is 2.4m high. The average semi-truck trailer height is 4m.
Back to Dinos and volcanoes...
Turtles are also dinosaurs and all lizards. Before the
flood,
everything
was in a perfect climate and much
more oxygen and carbon dioxite - and things grew double or
triple the size of now. The flood [supposedly] stopped the long
lives and large animals, because the the environment was changed.
We also still have unicorns. A unicorn is a one horned animal, a
rhinoceros. Dragons also existed since dinosaurs were called
Dragons
until the 1800s and even culture has stories of fighting Dragons.
It's
even on the Chinese calendar with all real animals.
There's a volcano bubbling up out of the middle of the area between two
roads in a city in Mexico - in Tlaxcala. It is also just under
the road and ground.

The word “dinosaur” is derived from two Greek words: “deinos,” which
means “terrible” or “fearfully great,” and “sauros,” which means
“lizard” or “reptile.”
Although Richard Owen gets all the credit, yet he stole specimens, and
often [stole the] credit for others' work, the real inventor of "dino"
words were:
-- A geology professor named William Buckland examined them in
1824,
and the source of the bones was eventually called "Megalosaurus", named
from the Greek words megas, meaning “great,” and sauros, meaning
“lizard.”

-- Just one year later (1825), a doctor named Gideon Mantell
pondered
the teeth and bones of another reptile that had been pulled out of the
sandstone in a nearby forest in Sussex. The teeth had serrated edges,
were often worn down by chewing, and bore striking resemblance to
modern iguana teeth. Mantell named the creature "Iguanodon".
In 1833, he would describe yet another species—the armored
Hylaeosaurus, or a “woodland lizard.”
-- THEN, in 1941 ... Sir Richard Owen, The Victorian
scientist, coined the term "dinosaur"
in 1841 to describe 3 fossil reptiles with similar features. It
was a
grand achievement for a man once labelled "impudent" by teachers at
Lancaster Royal Grammar School, which he attended from 1809 to
1819.
Yet, he had developed a reputation for controversy, was accused of
stealing other scientists' specimens and undermining people by writing
anonymous reviews of their work, while supporting them in public.
Owen's contemporary and rival Gideon Mantell described him as
"overpaid, over-praised and cursed with a jealous monopolising spirit".
The discovery of dinosaurs didn’t happen all at once—it happened in
fits and starts. In fact, larger-than-life bones were unearthed across
England and the United States throughout century 19 (1800s). One of
these giant fossils appeared to be vertebrae discovered near Oxford,
England, a fragment of a lower jaw, and “daggerlike” teeth.
When did dinosaurs exist on the earth? Were they still living after
God
made man?
We know that dinosaurs existed because there is a significant amount of
evidence that they did in the fossil record. The question is, where do
they fit into the chronological record? If man has existed for only a
relatively short time then how do we explain the long ages that science
has assigned to these animals? Did the earliest known dinosaurs begin
to appear in the Triassic period some 245 million years ago?
The typical answer to the above question is usually based on
misconceptions concerning the chronology as outlined in the scriptures.
Some believe that everything that was created was made when man was
formed. When it comes to dinosaurs, we will see this assumption is
incorrect.
A Prior Creation
The Bible reveals that there was a creation prior to Adam and Eve. Even
though Man was made on the day 6 of creation, he was not the first
living organism to be created!
Although man is, at most, a few thousand years old, the earth itself is
much older. We are not sure, however, how much older because the Bible
simply does not give us that type of information. The first chapter of
Genesis is not an initial creation story, but a re-creation of things
that already existed. This allows for the possibility that dinosaurs
may have been brought back into existence.
