I am all for Christian films

movies [below], as well as Christian Television.
The
word "movies" came from "moving picture"; "film" came from the stock
they used to make said motion picture. I strongly support
BOYCOTTING The Oscars - The Oscars: a 4-hour lecture of how bad we have
it - by the very people who have it the best. A bunch of
billionaires - giving each other awards.
I support Jeremy's Razors and Jeremy's Chocolate (BOYCOTT "woke"
Hershey's!)
Feel free to support [NOT with money!] our on-line Church - with your talents and interests.
Going forward, I am a firm believer of "If you look at, think of, and
discuss good things, it makes you a better person." Wait -
doesn't The Bible state:

If you spent any time online lately, you’ve probably noticed everyone
is buzzing about the latest season of Black Mirror on Netflix. Our
culture’s appetite for dystopian stories seems insatiable.
Dystopia is everywhere - and it’s become so familiar, so meme-able,
that pointing it out almost feels cliché. But here’s the irony: while
we eagerly binge the latest Black Mirror episode and assure ourselves
that these twisted realities could never really happen to us, we turn a
blind eye to the creeping dystopia shaping our own daily lives.
Our world is the dystopian novel. Infants are discarded as “choice,”
generations are raised worshipping plastic gods and Disney princesses
in spandex. Minds atrophy in digital cribs while borders dissolve,
traditions rot, and native populations wither - all cheered on by
progressive elites who brand resistance as hate. Grown men paint
their identities in Marvel slogans while algorithms strip-mine their
souls, addicting them to rage and casual sex. We beg for heroes, but
the void answers with influencers and bureaucrats. We drone on,
fattened by convenience yet hollowed by despair, too coddled to revolt,
too nihilistic to try.
No revolution required - we built this hell ourselves.

Here are only a few of my

Dialtone
A lawyer receives a very interesting phone call that completely changes
his life. This movie is a wake up call for evangelism and the
importance of keeping Christ first in life. It's also a reminder about
the importance of spiritual things being priority.

A Question of Faith
FIVE STARS - this film is about 3 families - who go throught horrible
circumstances, but at the end, all combine and it's an AMAZING film.
Great acting, cinematography ... you WILL cry at the end. - no matter HOW "macho" or angry you are!

Pass The Light
High School Students set out to change the world, and help those who need help. They do.

Crossroad
4 different lives meet up at the same location, and God is there.
CAUTION: gun play. Very similar to "Do You Believe" below.

Belle and the Beast
Based on "Beauty and the Beast", this is a very rich, bitter man
(although dashingly handsome) - who made a deal with Belle - to "wok
off" her fathe's accident at his mansion. They grew to know their
"real inner selves", and it is espectable, and a great film.

Good Friday
A Lawyer finds faith and leaves coruption. OUTSTANDING acting, cinema, colour.

Running From My Roots
A Country music star - declines the worldly mess - and goes back to her
home town - where she finds true happiness - with how she was
raised. EXCELLENT acting - with a real Country Music Star (Deana
Carter), and a fantastic plot. The full movie:

Christian Mingle
A truly real dating site, this is the story of a woman - looking for a
suitable mate - finds Christ, and her real purpose in
life. Great
acting, plot, etc.

Heritage Falls
A man who looks like "The Wedding Singer", and the "Oklahoma" guy from
"Officer and a Gentleman", who plays his father - all
reluctantly go camping, and although they nearly have an argument, it
bonds them. Lots of tasteful comedy, yet very
heart-warming. My favourite joke was "Hey, I'm playing my axe!" -
as the grandson holds AN AXE - and pretends to be playing it. I

Champion
A jerk race car driver ("Jimmy Connors" attitude) causes an accident,
looses his Racing career, .as well as the father of the man he killed -
.... I won't blow the ending, but it's a "must see"! The

Finding Faith
A VERY well acted film, with great cinematography! A woman comes
back to God - after her mom dies. Her father is played by John
Schneider (Starsky and Hutch). Aside from ONE "d--n" and 2 h---"
words briefly (made in 2024), I highly suggest it.

Savior
I *highly* recommend "Savior" - it's a modern "spin" on the birth -
Mary and Joseph - as if in today's setting. Even Britain's PM was
called "Harrod", and the ending - you HAVE to see the
ending. This entire monologue should be printed in every
Church!

Dancer and the Dame
A comedy, and I recommend: A Police Detective gets a new partner: a
female German Shepard. They crack the case, and live happily ever
after. Oh,
and the fat Police guy gets the pretty girl, but it's SO cute, and
everyone
is glad :-)

Until Forever
Based on a TRUE STORY. A great guy ends-up getting
leukemia. The girl who loves him stands beside him all the way -
even marrying him when he was near death. SUPERBLY acted!

Heaven's Door (Doorway to Heaven)
A SUPERBLY acted film about a girl who gets the gift of healing.
Her Atheist mother doesn't believe her, but it has a happy ending - in
several ways!
12-year-old
Riley Ann Taylor recently lost her grandfather, who died right in front
of her while teaching her how to play soccer. She soon finds a portal
leading to the place people talk about but never see: Heaven. She gains
a miraculous healing ability and uses it to help those who are sick but
soon gains the diseases these people and animals had. You know what
they say, every good thing comes with a price. Director: Craig Clyde

Saved By Grace
This film is VERY well-acted, and the cinematography is
excellent. A
former Police - in trying to protect his wife - shot her by accident
... well, later, right
when he was going to take his own life, GRACE knocks on his car
window. She has been walking and is exhausted. He
reluctantly gives her a lift. It changes his life forever.

Welcome to Paradise
A well-acted film - with even Brian DeHaney in it (FX), a big-city
Preacher woman is kicked out of her church, and reassigned to
"Paradise" - a very small town, that resist women Pastors. She is
tough, and the towns people end-up liking her. At the end, the
"bad guys" become good guys. I love it!

To Save a Life
The acting was EXCELLENT. Colour, filming ... there were a couple
of scenes that I didn't like: one was a drinking scene, afterward, the
main character went to bed with his girl. They did not show
anything, just "inferred", but I hate that stuff. Well, it
put up the context - for the other couple - who had
prayed and prayed for a child, but none. This girl gets pregnant,
but the main character had started going to Church youth meetings ...
so she
is on her way to the clinic to get (I don't even want to TYPE the "a"
word!) ,
but he stops her, and they have the child, and the other couple adopt
it - with the condition that she is part of the family. It has a
great ending - with many brought to the "school Christian lunches", and
several Students who were on the verge of suicide - did not go through
with it - because of what the main character did. So, I
overlooked those drinking parts - where STEVE CROWDER plays "the
bad guy" (he is a GREAT guy in real life!). And I think
it's a film I will - reluctantly with content - recommend.

Heavenly Deposit
A man reaches the end of his financial rope, and after a long string
of bad things, he finds his way. GREAT story and ending!

Stand Strong (2011)
Matt Webster measures his success by his possessions. Though he appears
to have it all, pride of ownership does little to fill the void of a
purposeless life. Broken relationships, isolation and pain for both
himself and his family are the results of his pride and selfishness.
Through a series of financial and family crises, Matt and his family
are stripped of all they own and are humbled enough to learn what
success is really all about.

This is Our Time
Five friends connected by their strong faith. After graduation, they
each set out to make a difference in the world for God. Their ambitions

they are asked to pay may just be too high. Through godly wisdom from
an outside source, the group realizes that this is not their time after
all, it's all His!

A father and daughter fulfill a promise to his wife (her mom) - that

Life Changes Everything

Uphill Battle
A well-acted story of a woman who now rides bikes - to "escape" from
her husband's addictions ... and then meets a better person - far more
grounded in the faith. God shows her through all of her doubts.

The Power of Air (Power of the Air)
A Nigerian missionary shares with a Christian man in the United States
that he feels the church in America is in great danger. The Christian
is very convicted by what he hears and sets forth a plan to reach his
city with the Gospel - by Radio ("Air"). Starring Patty Duke,
this film shows how SLIDDEN America/Canada is, and how even the Church
is corrupt and backslidden.
Great acting, cinematography, story. You WILL BE MOVED by this

Reading Kate
Jeffeson Moore is a bitter divorced husband - and his X-wife, who abandoned him and their age 1 child
- phones him - she needs to see him now. This is BORING for
youths, but a FANTASTIC plot and subject matter for adults. I
HIGHLY recommend this greyscale film!!

Courageous Love
A young man and his sister inherit a company after their parents are
killed in a car crash. The son and sister almost loose the
company - an employee has a bad gambling problem, but they stick to
honesty and prayer, and it has a very happy ending. Not to "blow
it" for you, but he also gets the Christian girl.

Miles Between Us

What If...
A (billionaire) man is given the gift of seeing his alternate future
(without money,
but with a wife and children) - which he left - to chase his fast-lane,
superficial, rich reality. As you suspect, he chose the poorer

... but don't be quick to think it's "It's a Wonderful Life" -

Meant To Be
As with Alison's Choice above, this is a story of a teen - wanting an
abortion, and a Social Worker - who had one at age 17 - and having
suffered the mental agony [of doing so] - for 22 years - talking the
teen out of

An Orphan becomes a huge success in life, but rejects God. This

The 3
Another film about a School shooting, but a happy ending. Some

Audacity
Some light violence, but I think: worth seeing. Peter (Travis
Owens) is an aspiring comedian encouraged by his friend Ben (Ben Price,
Australia’s Got Talent finalist) to perform at the local comedy club.

Time Changer (a must-see!)
In 1890, a Seminary Professor accepts literature from a Staff
member.
Another colleague argues to re-submit it - with "God" as the
centre. The Staff member says "It won't make a difference", but
he gets talked into going in a time machine - to see the late 1900's -
where God is OUT of the centre, and forbidden in Schools and

to their classmates. It shows the hardships of doing so, but the

A Comedy, and is "edgy" at first (it's rated "PG"- for brief suggestive
material), but the Church works out it's idiosyncrasies, and the ending
is a happy one! Heartfelt and funny! Great for all mature

You guessed it - The Mark of The Beast. Great acting, effects, cinema...
Lots of comedy, although a serious matter, but I highly recommend

Divination - Dark Soul
CAUTION: Rated PG-14, and about 10 swears: h---, b----, OMG, but no "f"
word ' s---", or others.
A theologically SOUND film - about a couple being pulled into Satanism
- by Demons. The Watchers (angels) win, of course, but the
acting is STELLAR - even though a Bridgestone film - and the special
effects are VERY good. I highly recommend this film, but your
children
will have nightmares! The point of the film is: STAY AWAY from
witchcraft and
all evil!! - also 'these Demons are all over, atd they WANT you to fail.

A pretty girl - obsessed with "Cinderella dream" - is treated badly by
a line of boyfriends. When she wasn't looking, the new neighbour
- a true Christian man - comes into her life, and ... I won't blow the

 The Sound of The Spirit
Rivka is a beautiful and precocious 12-year-old Messianic Jewish girl
whose life is shattered when her father, her last remaining parent,
dies. Forced to live with her aunt and uncle, a traditional Jewish

viewed Jesus as his Messiah, Rivka begins to prepare for her bat

EXCELLENT acting, lighting, storyline, and special effects - an
Autistic boy (Po) becomes the secret to his dad's success.

Everything I Am
Based in Sydney, Australia - a woman takes in a homeless person, and
has nightly Bible studies with other homeless. AVERY slow-paced film,

Rebuttals:
1) As someone who actually saw the movie I disagree with just
about every point in this article. She won her husband with her gentle
spirit, and pure conduct. That's not the same as women leading men. No
one prayed to Satan. The wife spoke against Satan, but she wasn't
praying to him. The film did show how sin negatively affected the
family. And what's wrong with praying to God to fix your life ? Praying
for God to heal a marriage is honorable and I would think that'd be in
God's will. We are supposed to make our requests known to God. If
anyone can fix anything it's Him. It wasn't like once their marriage
was fixed they forgot about Him, to the contrary they began to pray
together as a family. I know this movie wasn't perfect, but I think it
can encourage a lot of people.
2) It was a very good movie. To say the movie is unbiblical
because the reviewer disagrees with the theology of the two of the
actors was a stretch. Pick ANY movie that has a Godly portrayal of
Christianity and you will find at least ONE actor in it who is not
sound theologically and same may even be unbelievers BUT that does not
change the message. The War Room is a very good movie that will lead
many unbelievers to an interest in the things of God, to a repentance
from their sins, and to trust in Christ. What more could you want from
Hollywood? Also, the fact that a woman became a repentant Christian
first, well throw the Bible out because the Samaritan woman at the well
told her whole city about Christ! I am not a fan of Beth Moore but she
did not ruin the message.
MY take?
So many claim “false teachers” (false teachings), yet they also do it - without realizing it. For example, everyone says “He” or “Him” - yet God the Creator (“Elohim”) is NOT a He.
Nor is the “Holy Spirit”. People, for some reason - WANT them all
to be males. Why? Should Mary have been a male?
"Lucifer” is actually a FEMININE name, but even though Know this
in Hebrew, people WANT “him” to be a MALE. Why??
Even things like “The Trinity” - are fought back and forth - people
affirm TO DEATH - that it is 3 different people, yet it’s ONE.
Not only is this way above any human understanding, some Pastors
adamantly say that “modalism” will send yo unto hell”. If you
think that God changes “modes”. The Bible that most everyone
reads states ”Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and ye shall be
saved.” Although that is not correct (translation problem), it
doesn’t state "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, believe in the Trinity
- all MALES, and don’t believe in Modalism, and ye shall be
saved”. or even “And do not watch War Room or other false teachings Christian movies - watch SIN from Hollywood - yeah’ it’s better."

Christmas Ever After
Featuring a beautiful disabled (wheelchair) main character - who is
funny, and adorable - she is a writer - with "Writer's Block",
and she goes to the country for "inspiration'. It worked - with
a very unexpected outcome. VERY good acting!! NOTE:
It talks about a woman's "girlfriend" - making it obvious they are
"together", but no visuals. Yes, I *almost* stopped watching it,
but I'm glad I persevered through it. The other
film that we watched - and I did not list it here for the
following
reason - had 2 gay men in it - and one was a Pastor, so we
stopped
watching it immediately.

months of his life attending Church and later got a role in The
Chosen. At the time of this writing, he still pays
attention to the Gospel.
George H. Xanthis (John)
Xanthis was raised in a Greek Orthodox home as a native Australian.
According to him, he has been guilty of being culturally
Christian sometimes.
Elizabeth Tabish (Mary Magdalene)
She was born and raised a Catholic but her faith
withered along the line. However, she later found a place back to
Jesus, following the influence of The Chosen.
Several of the quotes that Jesus made in your series - were straight
from the Book of
Mormon. Yes, Dallas has said "this is NOT a replacement for
scripture", but don't add to the Bible
- at such an important time.
My own REALLY BIG problem with Dallas is: he smacks his lips -
CONSTANTLY - when talking, and the more nervous he gets (like after
this pride flag incident) - he was scratching his head non-stop,
putting his hand across his chest, and smacking his lips
non-stop. Of COURSE he's nervous - he's trying to save face
(money) ... but the damage has been done. You CANNOT impute your
viewers, or the Internet - when BOTH have made you the success in the
first place!!!
To make it WORSE, the cast is all DEFENDING the flag, and the pride
movement. This like defending SATAN!!
There is much about The Chosen that should concern the sincere
Christian. This show blends every major religion into one pot: a
mystic, pantheistic, ecumenical, feministic, Jesuit, and Mormon golden
calf. It is candy-coated with Biblical references to appear
Bible-based while treating the Word of God as just another book and
blurring any distinction between God's remnant movement and the
apostate church.
I am told (by 2 people - who spread the "misinformation" including):
- Corona would last more than
2 weeks
- Offices and schools would be shut down
- We would be forced to wear masks
- There would be more than 1 shot
- If you get the vaccine, you CAN still get Corona
Yep - all of those "conspiracies" (which did come true), so I now trust
THEM - before "science" (which has been wrong 100% of the time with
Corona).
Those people have told me: Jonathan Roumie is a Knights Templar
(Freemason), and the Actor who plays John the Baptizer - his site
shows that he is a proud Satan worshiper.
THOSE ALONE make me run from this series, and Hollywood as a whole.

and demeans
Christ:
#1 – “Follow Your Heart” - but not to Christ
Jesus meets Nicodemus in The Chosen series, and much of their
conversation seems scriptural. There are subtle changes, however,
such as adding, "What does your heart tell you?" (a popular Disney [VERY
supportive of "Pride" and homosexuals!] line.) (Remember, the
Bible states, "the heart is deceptively wicked".) Later in the
series, Jesus says, "Soon it'll all be about the heart”. Subtle
is the nature of such mystic teachings. It's worth noting that in this
same scene, Nicodemus kneels at Jesus’ feet and The Chosen Jesus stops
him, telling Nicodemus he doesn't need to worship Him. The
Catholic Church hates the worship of Jesus, and The Chosen follows suit.
#2 – A Hearsay Gospel
Throughout the series, disciples like Matthew and John interview
people, running around with notepads and writing down hearsay that will
become their Biblical books. In one case, a woman runs
by crying, "He healed me!" Matthew, in desperation, calls her
saying, "Healed you of what?" The show attempts to destroy the
inspiration of Scripture, portraying it as a common book comprised of
hearsay.
#3 – An Arrogant Forerunner
In The Chosen, John the Baptist is arrogant, disrespectful, and always
questioning Jesus. In one scene, Jesus says he is not ready to get into
specifics, and in a flippant voice John the Baptist responds, “You
appear to not be ready to get into the specifics on a lot of
things”. In a previous discussion, Jesus speaks to John the
Baptist regarding incest and adultery, saying, "I understand it is
against the law of Moses, but I am here for bigger purposes than
breaking rules". This gives the impression from “Jesus” that
John, who is about to confront Herod, is uninspired and even
foolhardy - and that “Jesus” doesn’t care about the 10
Commandments. As if seeking attention, John tells Jesus he is
planning on marching
into Herod's palace to tell him off, and then adds, "My followers will
love it." This isn’t what happened! In the Bible, John
stated, "I must decrease", so why does The Chosen portray him as
arrogant?
#4 – Destroying Scripture - for Satire
While John the Baptist disrespects Christ, Peter disrespects John the
Baptist, calling him "Creepy John". In the show, Peter and his
brother describe John the Baptist, saying, “Behold the Lamb of God
which taketh away the sin of the world”—and do so in a way that
destroys the beautiful solemnity of that moment. Peter's brother
begins, “He said ‘behold’...” and Peter interjects, “I am eating a
bug”. This lame, sacrilegious attempt at humor ridicules John's
recognition of Jesus as the Messiah and undermines the whole
message—including Christ’s divinity. In the show, Peter comes up
to Jesus and says he will go with Him to the ends of the earth, a
reference to Luke 22:33. Biblically speaking, this was a
monumental point in the conversion of Peter. But in The Chosen,
this moment is destroyed when “Jesus” responds, “I hope so Simon, but I
seem to remember there was a problem... something about Andrew's
feet.” This is disgusting. Peter had an unconverted heart that
would make it impossible for him to keep his promise to Christ, yet
viewers of The Chosen will never know how Jesus reveals the truth to
him. The show subtly distorts the Bible, belittles Christ, and is
a subtle error of a most disturbing nature.
#5 – Uplifting… Mary
Mary worship was brought into this show by Roman Catholic
influence. In Catholic belief, Mary is above Christ. In the
show, Mary provides strong emotional support. Jesus says things
like, "What would I do without you?” instead of demonstrating Christ
leaning on His Father, as Scripture clearly states. The writers
insert theology that is not found in the Bible but rather in the
Catholic tradition.
#6 – A Doctrine Swap
Show Producer Dallas Jenkins stated in an interview, "Our intentions
are different from the Bible's intentions". The Bible’s
intentions were to uplift Christ, so what are his? He states that
the show will be, “What the audience wants or needs to see”. This
TV show, carefully crafted to tug at your emotions, doesn’t encourage
viewers to sacrifice cherished sins. It subtly swaps Scripture
for mystical Catholic doctrine and cheap humor. Furthermore, show
writer Tyler Thompson claims the Bible is, "good literature" but not
infallible. During a discussion between the Mormon partners and
the show's host, they joke that the book of Revelation instructs us not
to add to the Bible. The show host, Dallas Jenkins discusses with
them how it is okay to ignore what John said in Revelation and add to
the stories of the Bible (for the series). He later states, with
a grin—and please do not miss this—“...the people who only want to read
the Bible won’t be watching this series.”
Friends, if the show’s partners claim that viewers purely adhering to
the Bible won't watch their show, we should run as fast as
possible.
#7 – Disciples or Drunks?
In the show, many Biblical characters are depicted as drunks. In
the show, our first encounter with Nathanael portrays him as a drunkard
and a failed architect (Nathanael is just one of the misrepresented
biblical characters). Circumstances prompt him to drown out his
failure in the pub, a common backdrop in the series. Why would
the show present Nathanael in such a light when Jesus Himself declared,
“Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile”? This show
would lead us to believe that these things are compatible with
Christianity.
#8 – Repentance Not Necessary
Although the true Jesus preached repentance, in the first three seasons
of The Chosen you might hear the word mentioned three or four times
total—and casually, without conviction. This is
intentional. When The Chosen Jesus supposedly quotes Luke 5:32 in
the show, he omits the word repentance and simply says he is “calling
sinners”. Calling sinners to what? The show is calling
sinners to a false gospel where repentance is not needed.
#9 – A Premature Arrest
Jesus is arrested by Roman soldiers prior to the Mount of Olives, a
story that is not found anywhere in the Bible. This was added to
destroy faith in inspiration for Jesus declared it was not yet His time.
#10 – Demeaning Christ
To bring God down to our level, The Chosen includes a scene where Jesus
prepares a sermon and rehearses well-known passages, making them feel
more human and common than inspired by His Father. His mother
interrupts him during one of these rehearsals, and you can see the
frustration in his eyes. During this same interaction with Jesus
and Mary, she says, "I'm proud of you" to which this supposed Jesus
replies, “Maybe wait to say that until after I’m done, in case I mess
up in front of such a big crowd.” ...THIS IS JESUS! This
show gratifies the evil heart by demeaning our Lord and Savior.
#11 – An Unscriptural Script
Unscriptural additions pepper The Chosen. Some seem innocuous,
others are blatantly Catholic, and some amuse the imagination while
instilling doubt. When Mary and Joseph lose sight of a young
Jesus, they then find Him in the temple, and The Chosen Jesus asks
them, "Did you not know I must be in the house of my father"?
What? The Bible says, “Be about my Father’s business”. This is
typical of a Catholic-inspired production to place the emphasis on a
church building instead of obedience to the Father in heaven.
Another example happens in a supposed exchange between a disciple and
Mary Magdalene, where she is asked about when she first saw
Jesus. Her response: “In a tavern”. She goes on to say, "He
put his hand on mine", adding, "which is not what it sounds
like". She recommends that John leave that part out of his book,
so people don't get confused... just another way The Chosen creates
questions and doubts. This series poses great danger since it
appears to "follow the Bible closely" and thus can lead many to
deception. In an interview, the show is described as a
"multi-lane highway for relationships with Jesus” (for this reason, the
show is inclusive of homosexuals, atheists, Catholics, and mystics for
their writers, actors, and crew.) The Bible says that narrow is
the way leads to life, and broad is the way to destruction. There
is no multi-lane highway to Christ.
#12 – Prayers to Mary Behind the Scenes
The Chosen Jesus actor Jonathan Roumie has quite a following, and it’s
concerning how his influence is used. Roumie has a “rosary live”
broadcast which attracts many viewers. On the Livestream, he
teaches viewers the Catholic rosary, to pray to dead saints, and pray
to a dead Mary as well as ask her for the forgiveness of sins.
Maybe you wouldn't watch his rosary, but you will be entertained by his
unbiblical depiction of Christ? What place does light have with
darkness? We are supposed to be giving the loud cry and calling
people out of Babylon, not watching their productions.
#13 – A Catholic Christ?
Interviews with The Chosen Jesus actor Jonathan Roumie reveals much
that should concern Protestants. "Your depiction of Jesus has got
the attention of the Catholic world in a big way,” Roumie is told in
one interview. (He admits his depiction of Jesus is inspired by the
Pope, whom he personally visited and received a blessing from.)
Jonathan Roumie also recounts his experience with a woman who lost her
son. The woman was convinced that if she touched the hem of the
garment Jonathan Roumie wore, she would be able to connect with the
soul of her son. This is a doctrine of demons.
This false
Jesus did not seek to correct the woman and point her to Christ but
instead took the glory to himself. No wonder the man of sin likes
him!
#14 – A Troubling Theme and Mystic Music
Topping things off, the music for The Chosen is produced by men such as
Dan Haseltine, an avowed teacher of spiritual formation,
who said about the production of the show’s music that he, “wanted it
to have a little chaos.” When preparing the soundtrack, Dallas
Jenkins told the composers, “There are no rules on this.” That
mindset carries into the lyrics of the show, as the opening for every
episode drives home their message that God, “Got no trouble
with the mess you been.” And while they don’t openly say so,
mystic undertones characterize the music in each episode.
Final Words of Caution
The Chosen has a gross disregard for Christ and makes light of Him
throughout the show. If there were no other point, this would be
enough to discard it as a grave and dangerous error. Yet there
are dozens of such points. Where the Bible leads us to salvation,
The Chosen leads us to lightly regard truth, repentance, and Christ's
sacrifice for us, while seeing Him as a common man. Portions of
Scripture that are essential and reveal conversion are twisted to amuse
and entertain. There is no light in this satanic portrayal and twisted
humanist production. Those who care about preparing for Jesus'
coming should shun the works of darkness.
My own "take":
After being "caught" with the "small" (one was semi-small; one was
LARGE [see above photo]!) flag of "homosexual pride - which is Satanic,
and should not be on ANY Christian set, EVER - the crew (Giavani Cairo:
"Thaddeus"), Jordan Ross ("Little James") - who even called out people
for any attack on the Pride! - and it's creator Dallas Jenkins, and

Lastly, this series is a heavy "Mormon" series. The Actors are
largely Catholic and Mormon. Reference to The Book of Mormon:
“Behold, I am the law, and the light. Look unto me, and endure to the

Pointing out the similarity, one Twitter user said, “I never took a
hard position against the Chosen until now. It is compromised and

was co-founded by brothers Neal and Jeffrey Harmon, both of whom belong
to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS).
Jenkins owes his supporters more than "looking the other way" - when a
few of his actors spit in their faces. He owes them the courage to say
that calling sin “sin” is not "hate". It’s love, and
it’s exactly what Jesus did throughout His earthly ministry and what He

We watched "Camp Manna", and although we wanted to turn it off

"Nefarious" (Sean Patrick Flanery) is Theologically correct with the

choose a tune that would fit the meter of the hymn and sing it to that
tune. The first music that was applied to the lyrics was a song written
by William Shrubsole called "Miles Lane". In 1838 James Ellor penned a

all listen to music and watch television and
movies - and
the
content is
overwhelmingly about SIN. Ponder that for a moment - why
are we watching - and being entertained by - SIN? We are
all very quick to
denounce pornography,

seeing that

definition of that word as
"anything erotic", although it has come to mean "human
eroticism". Good thing they changed it, or how many
(millions) of us would be guilty of "porn"when we looked at our sports
car! Certainly when we look at a woman's face (in Jesus'
day, woman had to cover their faces when around men - their face was
erotic to men!), it is erotic, and men build desire. God made men this
way - for a reason.

I am a firm believer that we should
watch "whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,

and Christian films fit that bill! The
"trick" Hollywood knows - and people flock to see - is (aside from
explosions, nudity, and violence - the sins people LOVE!) - the blue
colour. Now, Christian films tend to use "no filters", and no
"colour correction". Hollywood uses LOTS of filters, and one of
the main costs is to "colour correct" the entire movie. Hollywood
adds BLUE. Because people LOVE dark, and BLUE. Christian
films have more YELLOW, and natural hues, so they look"strange" and
uninticing to new viewers.
Humans prefers DARKNESS (Matt 4:1-10), so they don't like Christian
movies
- or frankly, any films that are "decent", have an actual plot, or are
wholesome.

As far as movies go, I stopped going to theatres DECADES ago - the foul
language, use of the Lord’s name in vain, sexuality, horror, special
effects, etc., that are pervasive and in so many of today’s
movies.
Christians are called to a higher standard regarding which movies to
watch - and how many movies we watch. (are we putting this before God?)
A movie is simply a story on a screen; modern-day theater. The story
can be good or evil,
beneficial or harmful. The wise choice is to take time to evaluate
whether the movie will be good and beneficial for your life, and
glorify God. This will
vary some from one person to the next, but it is helpful to invest a
little time to know what the movie will include before watching it. A
couple of helpful websites in this area include pluggedin.com and
commonsensemedia.org. A good rule to follow is to ask, "If Jesus was
sitting next to me during this film, would I still be glad I was here?"
If not, consider choosing another film. It is also a wise and godly
choice to leave during the middle of a film if you find yourself
watching a film you think to be inappropriate.
A Christian must consider if the amount of film being watched is
honouring to God. Ephesians 5:15-16 states, "Look carefully then how
you walk, not as unwise but as wise, making the best use of the time,
because the days are evil." Ask yourself, "If Jesus came back today,
would I regret that I watched this film?" If the answer is yes, then
figure out what you would not regret and do that
instead.
Our movie ticket purchases send a message to filmmakers. When we spend
money on films with a negative message or inappropriate content, it
tells filmmakers the public wants more films similar to it. Likewise,
rejecting negative films and supporting films with a positive message
encourages filmmakers to make more films that encourage and inspire.
Films can entertain, inspire, instruct, and influence. The films we
watch and the films we consider our favorites say much about what we
consider important. We are called to embrace what is good and to reject
what is evil. While we have freedom in Christ to choose what to watch
(1 Corinthians 10:23), this does not make every film beneficial for the
believer.
Further, it is appropriate to support films with a positive
message
that reflect our beliefs. Whether explicitly Christian or simply a film
reflecting biblical values, such films can help change lives in helpful
ways consistent with our beliefs, including our own.
Finally, remember films are ultimately made by people. These people
need our prayers, not just our criticisms of films we do not like, and
can be encouraged toward films that honour God. Our choice of films,
amount of movies we watch, support of particular films, and attitude
toward filmmakers are all important to God.
The vast majority of Hollywood, Bollywood and the rest of the film
industry’s content is sprinkled- if not saturated - with
infidelity, impurity, vulgarity, violence and blasphemy. Why? Because
the sensational gets noticed. Sex sells. So, the envelope has to be
constantly pushed.

God "allows" all of the bad is 2 reasons: 1) since we abandoned
God, he left things to us ... and if God is good .... "no God"
is no good. 2) look at the
celebrities - tens and hundreds of millions of dollars of wealth ...
but they are the most Atheist anywhere. The lesson: bad times
bring one closer to God, and that's when they need God.
Now, keep in mind, if I were a "proper" Hacidic Jew, I would be writing
G_d, since "that name is too precious to say or write.", but I call God
(I never say "him", since God is not a male. God is the creating
entity. *Jesus* was a male) the Hebrew term: "Elohim".
Pronounced "ee-LOW-him" - with a throat on the "h" in "him".
"Jesus' real name was "Yeshua" (or "Iashua" in Greek). So,
as the Bible clearly stated "Be thankful for tough times, and
hardship". Remember Παῦλος (Paulos, or as we call him "Paul") and
Silus - in a damp, cold pit - with their feet in shackles - for many
hours ... the pain would have been enormous - and they were singing
praises - loud enough that people could hear them. From a pit, that's
_some lungs_ !
God wants us to take care of our bodies - and "thwart-off cancer" and
many diseases that are self-indulged ... especially liver disease from
drinking, lungs (smoking) , or cancers (from chemicals sprayed onour
crops, or exposure to the sun (or tanning beds). We have brought
these on ourselves - by not loving our brothers (we always go for
"profit", and these chemical manufacturers _know_ what their
poisons do. Again, _money_ is the driving force - completely
against the scrolls.
Why do I write "scrolls" rather than "scripture"? "Scrolls" are
only the writings of the Bible. "Scripture" is any religious
writing: Islamic,
Bhuddist, etc. *I* welcome "trouble" - it
makes me pray more, bringing me closer to God. Also, hard times
showme .... let me put this into "Kung Fu": "Man who had bad hand
- think he have probrem ... .until he see man with no hands. Man
with no hand - think he have probrem ... until he see man with no arms
or regs. Man with no arms or regs - think he have probrem ...
until he see man who dead.".
